One of Australias Largest Sawn Hardwood Stockpiles

6,000* cubic metres of sawn hardwood, recently repacked, comprising predominately of mountain gum (Dalrampleana) with the remainder being narrow leaf peppermint.
​
The Timber is suitable for furniture, architraves, flooring and general building purposes.
​
Predominantly harvested from the Bago forest area in South Eastern New South Wales, north of the township of Tumbarumba, between October 2003 to 2008.
Stocked into lengths varying from 2.4* metres, 2.7* metres, up to 5* metres, with the majority being 4.8* metres. Thickness originally cut to 44* millimetres, to dress to 3 8* millimetres.

Industry experts that have inspected the stockpile, predict the timber would still have moisture content between 15 to 19 percent with in excess 90 * percent of the total volume considered to be of high-quality.
